About Kate
Kate is a wholistic Wellbeing Coach for children, who entwines the wonders of nature with somatically led creative play programs that intend to support children regulate their emotions, build capacity, enhance imagination, while fostering a deeper sense of connection with themselves, their loved ones & the earth.
Kate has a BA in Applied Science PE/Human Movement with electives in early childhood development and dance and is deeply passionate about sharing the therapeutic effects of nature’s seasons and cycles on children’s health and wellbeing.
KATE’S approach
Kate’s somatically led, nature inspired creative play programs have been especially designed to meet each child exactly where they are so that they can explore the tools and resources required for them to show up in the world in a whole and empowered way.
1:1 Sessions: Kate curates her nature inspired somatic play sessions to the needs of each child drawing from an array of therapeutic play practises in the form of dance, art, drama, sensory adventures, storytelling and mind body practises to support each child find their way home to calm.
Classes & Workshops: Kate’s classes and workshop’s entwine the wonders of nature with an array of therapeutic play practises (dance, art, drama, sensory adventures storytelling and mind body activities). Each offering has been created to support children to learn and grow through the wonders found in mother nature’s ways.
